House of Johnson

This Blog is about my opinion on any subject I wish to comment on.
I do not agree with how Britian has been over run with immigrants that are now causing great difficulties in our 'British Culture'.
If my posts cause offense or you do not agree thats just hard luck.

Mass Immigration IS Worthless

The government has finally admitted that immigration is worthless in a late memo sent to the Home Office.

It undermines even further Labour's argument that mass immigration has enormous economic benefits for the UK - a claim Gordon Brown was still repeating yesterday when rejecting demands for a cap on new arrivals.

Ministers have been focusing on the so-called £6billion boost delivered to the economy each year by immigrants. But a landmark report by the authoritative Lords Economic Affairs Committee yesterday dismissed the argument as "irrelevant and misleading". The committee, which includes two ex-Chancellors and a Labour economist, said the figure gave no indication of the impact of unprecedented migration on each member of the UK population - who receive "little or no" benefit.

Now it has emerged that Home Office officials did compile a figure of the annual benefit of migration to the native population, which is also known as Gross Domestic Product Per Capita. A memo quietly passed to peers says the total is only £30 a year, or a paltry 58p a week in 2006. Read More

Fuel Costs In Britian

Once again in the news is the threat of Hauliers coming out in force to demonstrate against the high cost of fuel. Who can blame them, but what they have to remember is that it is not just them who are suffering.

They can charge more for hauling goods the length of the country but as a consumer we are hit twice. We pay more for our goods and then more at the pumps to get to work. How many people have managed to get a pay rise from their 'Boss' based upon cost of travel to work? None I would expect.

Since the last fuel protest the Labour government introduced new terrorisim laws that now prevent us from demonstrating in such a manner. What we all need to do is to 'Boycott' all the large oil retailers/ producers such as BP & Shell and refuse to buy fuel from them, just drive on by and support the smaller retailer.

We have already seen the cost of road fund licence increase and that we should all drive small little green cars. This is fine if you are a couple of 'DINKIES' (Dual Income No Kiddies) but the families with children cannot go around in a car the size of a shopping trolley!

Gordon Brown has taxed us hard enough over the past few years, about time he reduced the rate of tax us normal people have to pay.

I know I live in one of the remotest parts of the UK and our fuel prices for petrol are currently at £1.11 per litre. For me to travel to town costs me in excess of £5 per journey just to get the weekly shopping.

Christmas Should Be 'Downgraded'

What a surprise a report in the Daily Mail says that the Labour think tank believes that Christmas should be downgraded to match other non British festivals in the UK. Do these people that make up this "think tank" live in the real world? Christmas is a celebration that makes us British and is a celebration that is at the top of most peoples lists wether you are religious or not. Once again the government is bowing to the so called minority that seem to have more of a say than the indigenous people of the UK. Read the full story here

Tony (Liar) Blair

Today its announced that Tony Blairs memoirs are going to be published about his exploits (disasters) as a Labour MP and worst of all his time as PM at No10 Downing Street. All his own self important words sumed up in one book, that I find hard to believe. What I find harder to comprehend is why Random House (publisher) want to pay a rumoured 6 million pounds for it! By publishing his book is this not some sort of Blair stealth tax which is going to line his pocket even further. Hopefully he might shed some light on how MP's afford such a lifestyle on such a meagre salary. Its about time the loopholes available to MP's in claiming 1000s of pounds in expenses were closed but I guess thats a whole new story or maybe a new book.

Governments Idiotic Ideas on Carbon Emissions

I couldn't beleive it when I read a report in the Daily Mail to do with the government proposing that we all drink UHT (long life) milk to help combat global warming as it would mean chillers would not be required. Read More

Are they completely stupid? How about banning normal filament lightbulbs or banning the import of electrical equipment that has a standby setting. Are these not simple answers to combat climate change. Or how about turning down the heating thermostat in all the public buildings?

I sometimes have to ask myself how these idiots get into making such stupid statements. My answer to this is simple...

Civil servants are a rare breed as not only do they have their brains removed and a government controlled one installed complete with the crows foot stamp to prove it has been exchanged. Have you ever noticed that once someone becomes a civil servant that they never get sacked only promoted? Hence the way to become a prime minister is to make huge cockups as a junior minister and all they can do is promote you. So when you reach the top you are very apt at wasting huge sums of public money and actually beleive that you have the skills to lead the country.

MOD to give troops 140 pound council tax rebate

Troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan are to receive a 140 pound council tax rebate.
The Ministry of Defence has agreed to the cut following a sustained grass roots campaign by servicemen and their families.

Is this not just an insult for our troops serving in conflics that should never have been ours in the firstplace. How about doubling the rate of pay for all frontline service personnel rather than handing out a petty token worth 140 pound. Would you risk yourlife for the wage they receive? Most operational service personnel don't even earn the minimum wage of 5.05 pound per hour. A basic salary of 14,500 pound for a 16hr shift per day, hardly well paid is it. How about doubling the rate of pay for all service personnel when on active duty. Its not just the Army that are risking lifes. Don't forget the Navy or the Airforce.
